The rifle is featured with a 'free floating barrel', as described by Stoeger themselves, which ensures maximum consistency and accuracy. The barrel's muzzle is threaded with a 1/2" UNF fitting to allow mounting of accessories such as silencers and other sound moderators. The Air tank in the XM1 Scout has a maximum capacity of 200CC (250 BAR) allowing for long and enjoyable shooting sessions. This PCP Rifle allows for a smooth and fast reload due to it's straight-pull loading system.
 
For comfortability the Stoeger XM1 Scout includes a comfort rear pad made of a durable non-slip polymer, an adjustable comb featuring an innovative multi grip system designed to adapt to the structure of each shooter as well as a flat forend that maximises stability.
 
The XM1 Scout is already accompanied by a 3-9x40 scope so the integrated picatinny rail can be put to full use right from the box. Other Picatinny rails can be found along the synthetic stock to fir other accessories such as bipods.
