Quite simply one of the best English made SIDE LOCK side by sides we have seen in the shop for a very long time, this beautiful gun is a sight to behold.
 
Made by top London and royal appointed gun makers G. T. Bartram, dating from we believe 1903 and originally one of a pair, this side by side is an antique in every sense but condition wise is superb. The gun also comes with sumptuous leather case which includes cleaning rod, snap caps and oil bottle too ! The gun also bears an unusual crest on the name plate, possibly a union between two families ? We are not sure at the moment but are open to suggestions (see photo) !
 
12 gauge, SIDE LOCK, double trigger, ejector, re-sleeved barrels, 2 1/2” chambered, fixed choke quarter / improved cylinder.
