The stock of the gun was completely cracked through following a fall. As a result, the owner took the gun to renowned local gunsmith John Rhodes, who has used four carbon fibre rods, fitted right through the stock, as a repair. This has resulted in the join being barely noticeable but more importantly the stock has been reinforced to such an extent that it is now stronger than the original. Photographs of the original work are available on request. John has also added an adjustable recoil pad which can be seen on the photographs.
